Sargent Electrical Services is the main sponsor of the Humber Bridge Soapbox Derby 2024. They are a family business founded in 1991, based in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Initially producing bespoke electrical wiring harnesses and associated cable assemblies, the product line rapidly expanded and now includes complete electrical systems for caravans and motor homes through to comprehensive building wiring solutions supplying systems for office, hospital, airports & retail sectors. They employ in excess of 135 people, providing a full design and manufacturing service including system integration.

Phoenix Building Systems Ltd was founded in 2003 by Martyn Taylor, Martyn retired in February 2023 and the business was taken over by his son’s Michael Tayor and Steven Taylor as the Managing Directors and Jayne Wilson as the Commercial Director. All the Directors are passionate about upholding the values that Phoenix have established over the years whilst simultaneously expanding the company’s services to fulfill the needs of customers across multiple sectors. The result is an independent, family run business with decades of experience and a highly skilled team that turns dreams into reality.

Hull Fibre are suppliers of giga-fast fibre broadband in Hull and the surrounding areas. Although their story is not a long one yet, they are happy to say they have an ever growing customer base who have become a big part of their journey. HFR Solutions are a Community Interest Company founded in 2012 who specialise in emergency response and workplace safety. Born from Humberside Fire & Rescue Service, their team brings the knowledge and expertise of the Fire Service to the commercial sector.
